SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (January 31, 2012) - Athena Greek Cuisine takes a step up in 2012! Introducing a new Executive Chef, Vasilis Massouras, is a native from Greece. Chef Vasilis adds a personal touch that has enhanced Athena Greek Cuisine’s Menu and people are responding! The new Executive Chef at Athena Greek Cuisine brings current innovative fresh food ideas directly from Greece. On the island of Paros, Greece, Chef Vasilis operates another successful Greek restaurant-hotel, The Blue Dolphin.

As the new Executive Chef at Athena Greek Cuisine, Vasilis Massouras’ main initiative is to introduce the goals of the Greek Mediterranean diet through a flavorful fresh new menu. The goal is based on health and wellness benefits of 100% pure virgin Olive Oil. In Greece olive oil represents gladness and an ability to shine happiness onto life. As a Greek Restaurant leader, Athena Greek Cuisine plans to invest in the health benefits of your daily culinary experience. As part of the effort, to enhance our menu we will have more fresh daily specials native to Greece. We wish you to have the most unforgettable dining experience.

It was a pleasure serving all of the wonderful guests who came through our doors in 2011. Thank you for all the parties we catered for you up to 500 people. Our big love and passion for food, matched with many years of experience, gives you the opportunity to try real home-made food, and traditional Greek recipes.

During the company's 1^st year Annual Caring Campaign the Group team members at Athena Greek Cuisine and guests donated and raised thousands of dollars to serve the Public Schools, the 100 Club, the Chamber of Commerce, and Synagogue and Church Charities across Arizona including the National charities for Children’s Cancer and Autism.

The Open Table Group honored Athena Greek Cuisine with its 2011 and 2012 Restaurant Neighbor Award. The award celebrates outstanding service efforts that restaurateurs perform in their respective communities.

As George, former owner of Arizona’s famous Bacchanal, is Athena Greek Cuisine’s live entertainment host. George will help you learn to Greek Dance and music entertainers’ and belly dancers will bring the party to you. The restaurant layout offers plenty of seating selection for a more intimate dining experience or a lively gathering. Let our host know your preference.

During this summer the family dining restaurant, Athena Greek Cuisine will celebrate another Anniversary with a month-long campaign - rewarding guests with more complimentary food advantages, catering prizes and happy hour parties 7 days a week.
